reasons i need my own house

1. so accidents can be just that accidents!
2. so i wouldn't have replace doors that had holes punched in then from door stoppers
3. so when there is a scratch on the paint i don't cry
4. so the coloring on the walls wouldn't be so nerve racking
5. so a spill on the carpet doesn't result in a panic attach
6. so when we are dying easter eggs and spill the dye i don't spend half the night scrubbing the counter
7. so i don't feel like i need to replace every set of blinds in my home
8. so i can fix what needs to be fixed without feeling like i'm going to mess something up
9. so i can super glue the toilet lid and call it good
10. so i can sleep at night

strange sounds

i woke up this morning with little bit of a headache and as i lay in bed deciding if i should get up and exercise or go back to sleep for 30 minutes i could have swore i hear i high pitch beeping sound. so i went to investigate. i could only hear it in my room which told me it's not in my head! which well never mind. but i knew i heard something. i laid back down for about 10 minutes till my husbands alarm went off. i asked "love can you hear that sound?" of course he couldn't so i was doubting my sanity. finally i walked outside around the car to my neighbors house and sure enough the fire alarm was going off. okay i'm not crazy but i am clumsy because as i walked back around the car to get inside i slipped in the ice and fell flat!

Hello 2009!!

Dear 2009,
Hi like you can plainly see above I'm freak'n hilarious which you will soon come to learn. i thought I'd let you know what has happened to me in 2008 and see where we can go from there.
January i grew as a mother, as my children were really starting to develop their individual personalities which really haven't subsided at all, only gotten bigger.
February was amazing the best valentines day by far. Having an amazing husband does make a difference.
March was quite a roller coaster of a month but i know that through it all i learned that time is precious and to never take anyone for granted.
April's general conference was a first for me. for as long as I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints President Hinckley has been the prophet. it was an amazing spirit that was felt as president Monson took his place as the 16th president for The Church
May i had my first panic attack and truly morned the loss of a best friend
June loved being a stay at home mom!!
July was packed full of crazy fun!! Girls camp, crazy dreams, morning sickness, county fair, new calling in Young Women's
August summer school ends, a week to play, school starts, J got married!! oh yes and potty training adventures
September was fun, stressful, new, frustrating!!
October My love and I were sealed for time and all eternity in the Twin Falls Temple. I love that families are forever!!
November was kind of a blur
December was here and now it's gone
how quickly the year goes by and how much I've learned.
So 2009 i guess all i ask is that you're kind, know that i can tough it out but would rather be able to fill my blog with happy hilarious posts

nightmares

so being a mom comes with lots of up and downs my current down is kind of an up too.
For several weeks i have woke up to the cries both big sister and little brothers.
how is it a down?
because i've got to get out of my comfy bed(the selfish me) and because my children are obviously scared.
how is it an up?
it's kinda nice to have a chance to cuddle up and fall asleep next to my babies (again selfish)

big sister-well i asked two different Santa's so i'll get two
mom-there is only one Santa
big sister-no the one at the school, his beard kept falling down and he had a mustache underneath and the one at dell had a real beard

... well those are actually Santa's helpers so all the kids can get a chance to tell a Santa what they want.

year one-big sister was about 36 hours old no tears
year two- big sister lots of tears
year three-big sister screaming, little brother worried looks
year four-big sister pouting, little brother crying
year five-both jumped on his lap with big smiles!!

so today was the first full day in our new ward. neil and i both received callings right before church. i'm going to be the miamaid advisor which should be fun since i can't seem to keep my mouth shut through a lesson now i can teach the lesson. and neil was called as the first counselor in the elders quorum. we both got set apart today and the spirit was defiantly present. but it didn't really feel like home. the bishop was very nice and i'm sure it will get better but i was hoping that people would be a little more friendly. and they were nice but well there were no warm fuzzies!

I took my camera to Bestbuy to have it cleaned not realizing that they didn't do it there on site but send it off some where to be cleaned. so therefore i don't know when it will be back i'm scared (i'm sure for no good reason) that it will get lost in the mail and i'll loose all of my pictures and feel this emptiness of not having my camera forever!!!

we're learning songs for the Christmas program and to help them remember the words i drew a few pictures.

saturday morning-sister smashed her finger in the car door

monday night-sister says "oh great, this is the finger i pick my nose with what am i going to do now?"

one more thing

and just in case my week wasn't crazy enough

yesterday our ward boundaries changed and i am now one of the few who are no longer in the shoshone ward!

i haven't decided how i feel about this yet.

what a week

i know everyone has a day now and again when they really don't want to get out of bed. well that would have been my week if i could have slept at all. luckily there were some many good things amid the annoying and somewhat nerve racking things.
